Combining job opportunities with career development objectives

At SPIE, you are the prime mover behind your development. Our wide-ranging activities and trades, added to our extensive operations in Europe and worldwide, combine to create a unique company with numerous opportunities for career advancement.

Our human resources policy assigns top priority to fostering individual development, with a focus on internal advancement, whether geographically or professionally.

Thanks to ongoing dialogue between employees, their managers and Human Resources, we match job opportunities at SPIE with each individual’s career aspirations.

Career development

Annual performance review : personalised career developemnt

The annual performance review is a special opportunity for manager-employee dialogue. It takes place once a year and focuses on assessing the past year and discussing goals for the year to come. The review must also include discussion of the employee’s objectives in the areas of career advancement, geographic mobility and training.

We place prime importance on this meeting, which serves as an essential tool in human resources management.

Company Resources Developement and Assessment Committees (CEDRE)

CEDRE committees, comprising managers from several entities, are set up at all levels within SPIE. Their objective is to plan for the future based on market trends as well as employee skills and career development goals.

These unique committees foster comprehensive and forward-looking management of the company’s resources.

Promoting internal mobility

The Group’s human resources culture is strongly imbued with this major focus on staff development.

Employees receive priority for any vacancies, with preferential access to the list of jobs posted on the Group intranet.

We support employees’ career development by preparing them for their new responsibilities. For example, technical staff move up to management level by following a specific training programme developed by the SPIE Training Centre.

Supporting Group-wide mobility

SPIE regularly offers employees the opportunity to work abroad due to its extensive operations in France, Europe and the worldwide expansion of its Oil & Gas business.

SPIE assists employees and their families to ensure as smooth a transition as possible to the new location.
