Job Purpose :

As a strategic decision the business has made moves to develop our capability into larger scale industrial projects incorporating our track record of delivery of major projects

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities : 

 

• To provide the mechanical or electrical technical support for the SPIE Matthew Hall building services and facilities management operations throughout the United Kingdom with due regard to the commercial and contractual considerations.
  
  
• To assist with and provide guidance on the latest requirements of legislation, standards and regulations to the businesses and identify any training requirements.
  
  
• Where requested write and deliver seminars to customers on the latest legislation, standards and regulations.
  
  
• Where required provide specifications for business units.
  
  
• Represent the company on the ECA Technical Committee.
  
  
• Represent the London & South East business units at ECA branch level.
  
  
• To act as the focal point for the company with the NICEIC.
  
  
• To represent the company on technical standards committees as necessary.
  
  
• Provide the CEDD electrical department members with support for factory inspections, site inspections, testing & commissioning matters.
  
  
• To act as the focal point for the company for electrical technical software requirements.
  
  
• To represent the company at meetings with clients.
  
  
• Provide support to the CEDD electrical design manager for technical reviews.
  
  
• Support the Chief Engineer with management of electrical operation of CEDD including carrying out Personal Development Reviews with relevant staff.
