This is an opportunity for you to be responsible and assist with the assessment, analysis and consolidation or development of the current IT Policies and Procedures between two sister companies and proceed to the sole purpose of publishing all the integrated Policy and Procedures.
Your main duties will be to:-
* Work with the core team members to obtain an in-depth understanding of the current IT Policy and Procedures between the two sister companies.
* Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
*Proven working experience in technical writing of IT Process documentation.
*Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail.
*Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and process diagrams .
*Excellent written skills in English.
*Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
*Plan, develop, organize, write and edit Operational Procedures and Processes.
*Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and reflect in the applicable documentation.
*Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content in line with Qatargas Corporate Documentation standards.
*Assist in the creation of awareness materials to help end-users on the newly published Policy and Procedures
Ideally you will have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other relevant degree from a recognized and approved program.
Minimum of 7 years of IT processes experience ideally within the oil/gas industry.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Policy and Procedures development and maintenance.
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal English.
