Job description

This is an opportunity for you to participate in the supervision of the pre-commissioning / commissioning, Operations activities according to detailed procedures.

Your main duties will be:-



-Ensure the daily operation of the units in accordance with Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Conservation and Protection Company regulations;

-Optimize the daily operation of the installations;

-Maintain and improve the “operational tools”;

-Participate in Operational Budget process and contribute to the personnel management.

-Develop and coordinate master plan of all pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the project.

-Ensure capturing lessons learned from previous projects; identify opportunities for increasing readiness assurance;

-Mitigate pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up risks and provide suggested improvements for identified gaps.

-Supervise progress of preparations, secured requested materials and manpower for scheduled daily activities;Supervise the pre-commissioning / commissioning activities according to detailed procedures;

-Participated in startup and Run test for Dynamic Equipment together with Vendor;Participate to plant inspection for mechanical completion;

-Perform with success performance tests and interim operation

Job profile

Ideally you will have a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years' of proven experience in a crude oil refinery. You will have at least 12 years' of experience in a similar position and ideally previous experience in the GCC.

You will have proven experience in one or more of the following: Fuel Gas System; DHT Flare; HCR Flare; Under Ground System; Steam System; Cooling Water System; Nitrogen / Air System; Water System; Flare System; Fire Water System; Waste Water Treatment (WWT); Ecocene Topping Unit related; De-Isopentanizer (DIP); De-Isobutanizer (DIB); and IC5 Merox.

It is desirable, you will also have knowledge of: Interconnecting Pipeways - ICP Tie-ins; Crude; NG; Desal; Fresh a Coordination; and Acid Gas Flare.

You will have experience in PMC / EPC organisation in the field of Refinery / Petrochemicals industries in handling commissioning of major projects of value not less than $500 million each.

You will have a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal in English.
