Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Indonesia for a:
Instrumentation Commissioning Supervisor

Job Purpose:

This is an opportunity for you to participate in Company FPSO Commissioning team to all activities linked to the Instrumentation Commissioning of FPSO Topside, Hull, LQ and Turret and requires a strong presence on the field. You will follow-up field Instrumentation commissioning, handle autonomously all technical aspects of Instrumentation commissioning execution, monitor Instrumentation pre-commissioning activities, and coordinate subsystem completion including punchlists.

Your main duties will be to:

Kept informed of Contractual Company Requirements and international standards related to area of responsibility, taking knowledge from them to application to the Project.
Follow-up the preparation of Pre-commissioning and Commissioning, ensuring that Company requirements are fulfilled within Contractor's standards, in accordance with the principles of OPERCOM methodology.
Witness selected Pre-commissioning activities performed by the FPSO EPSCC Contractor and to monitor that the Instrumentation equipment have reached the Ready for Commissioning status with the associated punch list and certificate before FPSO EPSCC Contractor proceeds with commissioning activities ; to review the precommissioning /RFC dossiers and participate to subsystem Instrumentation preliminary checks (PRC) .
Witness selected Commissioning activities performed by the FPSO EPSCC Contractor and to monitor that the Instrumentation equipment have reached the Achievement of Commissioning status with the associated punch list before FPSO EPSCC Contractor submits the relevant certificate.
Provide guidance and assistance to the FPSO EPSCC Contractor during the preparation and execution of the Instrumentation Commissioning.
Follow-up the status and updates of commissioning reference documents, including (ICAPS) Pre-commissioning status index and the Commissioning technical database, the RFC and AOC dossiers, certification, punch list control, planning, and relevant deliverables for all Instrumentation equipment and activities.
Promote safety within the Commissioning activities and verify that safety procedures and permit to work systems are implemented by the EPCC Contractor Commissioning Team.
Monitor that adequate preservation of Instrumentation equipment is implemented as planned before, during and after the commissioning activities.
Follow up/report Instrumentation commissioning activities progress and punch list clearance.
Report to FPSO Instrumentation Commissioning Leader highlighting areas of concerns and problems encountered in performance of his duties.
Ensure confidentiality of all the documentation issued under his area of responsibility.

Job profile

Ideally, you will have a Degree/Diploma in engineering discipline from a recognized university with 20 experience in execution of Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning activities linked to the Instrumentation Commissioning of FPSO Topside, Hull, LQ and Turret.
You will have Electrical Certification for working on live systems (equivalent to APAVE H0V B2V BR)
You will have CompEx certified (or equivalent)
You will be an Experienced OPERCOM/ICAPS professional
You will have proven experience in Safety precautions and occupational hazards in the use of equipment; safe work methods and practices.
You will have a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in industry commissioning software and systems and advance skills in Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbal in English.
