This position is a unique opportunity to The purpose of the Head (Fabrication) is to manage the onshore fabrication requirements of the Project, to ensure objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule; and to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards applicable to
Main Responsibilities :
Focal point at onshore fabrication site, for implementing safety leadership and safe execution of the work
Undertake line management responsibility for Site Safety performance
Assist the Construction Manager in executing Project responsibilities
Manage all onshore construction requirements of the Project, to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule
Oversee the planning and execution of fabrication, construction, hookup and mechanical completion
Report progress, performance, initiatives and issues to the Construction Manager
Ensure construction interfaces with Project PMT, Site PMT and Contractors are effectively
Monitor Contractor performance and provide advice as necessary, to ensure design goals design philosophies and specification are achieved
Coordinate the input and review the development of Contractor detailed engineering procurement, schedule and execution plans, to complete the work
Monitor and appraise the Constractor's performance for safety, quality, cost and schedule ensure that appropriate corrective actions are taken when needed
Verify physical progress and approve or endorese Contractor invoices, as appropriate
BSc Degree Minimum of fifteen (15) years broad experience in all project phases (i.e. engineering procurement and construction).At least ten (10) years specific involvement in the design, construction and startup of major process facilities . Minimum of five (5) years as an onshore construction head.
Worldwide experience with contractors and vendors in particular those involved in the onshore construction of facilities
