Nicolas, Project Designer

I did a diploma in climate control engineering and I wanted to work in a design office. So I looked for a job via Internet and I came across an ad for SPIE.
I was asked to join the company...and to do an IT training course so as to master this software within a year.

Nicolas trains on industrial design software.

I didn't expect to find such an opportunity straight from school, and it's motivating as I can acquire software skills on HVAC engineering in general.

Coffee break.

I immediately felt well integrated with my fellow staff. I'm fortunate to work with people who are willing to answer questions and help me get ahead.
Whatever the problem, I can get an answer and what's more, a quality response.

I go on site from time to time to meet with the field professionals. And it's rewarding to learn from them.

We just started a major project, so I've given him tasks to do, explaining what's to be done...

You have to check it against the plans. And then find other suppliers than...
this one. I begin by putting a figure on it and if we win the deal... I can then design the installation and the equipment required.

Aworld of opportunities
An adventure to share
